What would you do if you came upon a book that revealed the solution to a centuries old mystery? What if the answer was so fantastic as to be almost unbelievable? Would you have the courage to act on this information knowing that your own life would be in immediate danger?

Kenny Wagner, a bookstore owner in New Orleans faces just such a dilemma when a stranger unexpectedly hands him ‘The Crossing’.

This book chronicles the history and true nature of the inhabitants of the so-called ‘Planet X’ and their ever-present covert relationship to the human race on earth.

‘MISSING – Kidnapping the Image of God’  captures the reader’s forgotten memories, creating an inseparable link to Wagner as he is thrust into a mysterious journey that spans and intersects both space and time. Coming full circle, the journey leads to a startling conclusion… Is the year 2012 the end of humanity, or mankind’s new beginning.

Step aside Mr. Dan Brown by Barbara_Lawrence

“Step aside Mr. Dan Brown and your hugely successful literary contribution, “The Da Vinci Code”. Now, it’s time for Barry M. Carlos and Jeffrey A. Micheli to take over the spotlight with their surprisingly spell-binding saga, “MISSING – The Kidnapping of God”. Cleverly teaming imaginative mythological inventiveness with creative theology, the Mister’s, Carlos and Micheli, weave an enchanting tale of right and wrong, good and evil, guilt and innocence and life and death, leaving the reader (long after he turns the last page), philosophically pondering the resultant effect of fanciful words put to paper. Needless to say, it was gratifying to learn, there is a sequel planned.

As I read I felt I was part of the story and it captivated me… by Diana A

We have all had questions and speculated about the first humans who inhabited the Earth, and probably also wondered about other intelligent living beings on other planets. We couldn’t be the only ones right?

And we have all had conflicts, torn between a Supreme being ‘God’, and an evil being ‘Lucifer’, or simply ‘good vs evil’. And most of us have felt that we were someone else in another life or re-incarnated at some time or another. Ever hear the saying ‘The Devil made me do it’? or ‘My Guardian Angel is watching over me’?

Many questions and answers about the mystery of it all is superbly captured by authors Barry M. Carlos and Jeffrey Allen Micheli in their book ‘Missing’, Kidnapping the Image of God. They give a divergent perspective on the Theories about the origin of Man, God and the Devil.

One easily can get absorbed and captivated by the characters. And I can relate to that by the dreams I’ve had after an evening of reading.  It is remarkable that after thousands and thousands of years the good and the evil exist today.”They” are all around us!

I love mysteries and the title ‘Missing’ Kidnapping the Image of God attracted my attention and ‘Missing’ did not disappoint!

Outskirts Press Presents Royal Flush: A Winning Collection of Poetry and Short Stories

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Portrayal of Deserving Poets & Writers, September 2, 2011
This review is from: Outskirts Press Presents Royal Flush: A Winning Collection of Poetry and Short Stories (Paperback)

This collection highlights the skilled mastery of each individual poet & writer. It is well-organized and is a good read for anyone who has a passion for poetry and/or short stories. I especially loved “Reminiscent Dreams” which is a combination of both: a poem as told in the form of a short story. Bravo, Ms. Lisa M. Andrade!!! And kudos to the team at Outskirts Press!

MISSING Kidnapping The Image Of God

Recently, a very kind individual writing in an article, referred to Jeff and I as famous Authors.  I wrote him back and thanked him for his generous words, however, we did not consider ourselves ‘Famous’, just a couple of dudes who wrote a book.  However, we might become famous after some reader’s pick up a stone or two and throw in our direction.  You see some people might not appreciate Mary, the mother of Jesus being taken up into a UFO by the ‘Angel’ Gabriel.  A very large Stone might be thrown after they read that ‘Michael the Archangel is…  Well, perhaps I better not divulge that here.   Anyway, here is a sample text of Mary meeting Gabriel:
Earth: Nazareth, A city of Northern Israel
Date: June 11, 0005 BC
Time: 10:05 PM

Orbiting high above the earth, the launching crew of a Command Astralship, finished inputting the voyage sequence data into the shuttle’s onboard computer then launched it out into space. Within minutes, the small craft entered the earth’s atmosphere, flew over the Sea of Galilee and continued westward toward its destination. Upon reaching the small town of Nazareth, the craft silently hovered five thousand feet above its objective while Gabriel prepared himself for his third visitation to an earthling.

The young girl, startled and frightened, sat up in her bed and pressed her body deep onto the wall behind her. “Who are you? Why are you here!”

“You who are highly favored need not be afraid, the Lord is with you. You have been chosen to give birth to a son. He will be great and called the son of the Most High. On his eighth day, at his circumcision, you are to give him the name Jesus.”

“How can this be for I am a virgin and have known no man?”

Gabriel answered, “If I tell you that the Holy Spirit will come upon you, will you better understand?”

“I do not understand any of this; however, I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said.”

Gabriel smiled with satisfaction; “I will return tomorrow evening and take you to the place where these things shall come to past.”

Mary nervously reached out towards Gabriel, “No wait, tomorrow at sundown begins Shavu’ot. Our Holy law does not permit…”

Gabriel interrupted Mary’s concern by reaching across her bed and then gently touched her lips with his finger, “Do not worry or be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God.” Gabriel suddenly disappeared from the room and Mary’s body slumped helplessly back into her bed.

As promised, Gabriel came for the young girl and transported her up to the Astralship. Upon entry, the sudden brightness from the surrounding lights startled Mary, for she had never seen anything like this before. Fear quickly overcame her and she began breathing very heavily. To her, the many multicolored technolums set in panels throughout the surrounding area, looked like eyes full of fire. The only light she knew came from fire. From her perspectives, there was no way for her to comprehend how they could stand in a room full of fire and yet live.

An attendant looked to Gabriel then pointed back to Mary. Gabriel turned and observed the fearful look in the child’s eyes. Reaching back, he smiled then gently took the frightened girl by the hand and led her on to her appointed destiny. Mary’s everyday realities could not begin to fathom the depth of all that was now unfolding before her.
