September 09, 2009: We have all had questions and speculated about the first humans who inhabited the Earth, and probably also wondered about other intelligent living beings on other planets. We couldn’t be the only ones right?
And we have all had conflicts, torn between a Supreme being ‘God’, and an evil being ‘Lucifer’, or simply ‘good vs evil’. And most of us have felt that we were someone else in another life or re-incarnated at some time or another. Ever hear the saying ‘The Devil made me do it’? or ‘My Guardian Angel is watching over me’?
Many questions and answers about the mystery of it all is superbly captured by authors Barry M. Carlos and Jeffrey Allen Micheli in their book ‘Missing’, Kidnapping the Image of God. They give a divergent perspective on the Theories about the origin of Man, God and the Devil.
One easily can get absorbed and captivated by the characters. And I can relate to that by the dreams I’ve had after an evening of reading.
It is remarkable that after thousands and thousands of years the good and the evil exist today. “They” are all around us!
I love mysteries and the title ‘Missing’ Kidnapping the Image of God attracted my attention and ‘Missing’ did not disappoint!
